Bojan Krkic has been officially awarded the Best Player of The Year for the Barcelona junior team, Barca B.
The 16-year old goal machine has now hit over 900 goals in his junior career, including goals for Spain U-17 National Team, which he has remained the National Top Scorer for two consecutive years running.
Bojan has also scored for the Barcelona senior team and recently starred in his debut game for Spain's U-20 national Team against Georgia.

Receiving the Mario Munt Memorial award from Munt's widow, Krkic's parents, Bojan Krkic (Snr.) and Maria Lisa were immensely happy with the feat their young lad Bojan has achieved since his Barcelona career began. Bojan's parents received the award on the young striker's behalf as this is the rule guiding the award, where the Parent/ Guardian of the recipient preferably receives the prize on their son's/ward's behalf.
Previous winners of the award include current Barcelona senior team midfielder Andrés Iniesta and also reserve goalkeeper Albert Jorquera.
Bojan Krkic is listed as one of the potential players for the Barcelona senior team, although interests from Ajax of Holland, St. Etienne of France and other European clubs are streaming in.

The Mylik U19 Classic tournament´s success in turning home-grown talent into superstar is something that helps to develop football in Ghana. The tournament provides an opportunity for young talented footballers, through top stage exposure, to show their skills and abilities, as it is the only platform available to cadet players to showcase their talents.
Aside from the soccer skills on the pitch, there’s a hive of activity buzzing this year's Mylik Classic U-19 tournament which was held at the Nicholson Park in Burma Camp and the final match was played at the Liberty Park Carl Reindorf Stadium, Dansoman. The tournament promotes respect and honesty, on and off the pitch. Every match was exciting, challenging and an endless memory, regardless of the score.
MYLIK SPORTS LTD has over the last four years provided consistent publicity, through its U-19 tournaments to talented youth footballers for identification, recruitment and further development. Apart from the fun that it breeds, I am convinced that it is a good platform on which we will be able to identify very good talents which previously have not been noticed. With the new feature of involving teams from the various regions, we will be able to find some raw talents that need some polishing to be ready for the Premiership Clubs in Ghana and also for various international leagues.
The regional teams that participated in the tournament are from the Upper East, Central and Eastern region. Other teams and Academies such as Tom Vernon Academy, Tudu Mighty Jets, Tema FC and Bright Future FC also featured in this year’s tournament. The team from the Volta region pulled out of the tournament at the last minute.
The eight teams were divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, respectively. Each team in Group B was award 3point and 3goals because the Volta region representative club was absent and could not play their group matches.
Group A
Bright Future FC
Eastern region
Tema FC
Tom Vernon Academy
Group B
Central Region
Mighty Jets
Upper East
Volta Region
The tournament commenced with Tema FC playing Tom Vernon Academy. Tom Vernon Academy portraed excellent tactical and technical skill when they beat Tema FC in the opening day 2-0.
The second game of the day was between Eastern Region and Bright Future FC. The match ended in a goalless draw 0-0. It was a game, which provided equal opportunities for the two sides to grab the three maximum points at stake but they failed to make use of the chances that came their way.
The 3rd match of the day, was a hectic tussle between Mighty Jet and Upper West Region. It was a typical thriller and a befitting climax to an afternoon of fluid soccer. The Mighty Jets, the Current Division 1 League leaders played Juventus (Upper East Region) in the preliminary round and the teams drew 0-0. Mighty Jets had clear cut chances but failed to convert them into goals. Both side put up a very splendid performance.
