Both men have the legendary Johan Cruyff as their external advisers for the deal, and Cruyff himself is also an Ajax and Barcelona legend.

Ajax Technical Director, Martin Van Gaal also sought to know the possibility of Thiago Motta or Ezquerro moving from Barcelona to Ajax following the success of Gabri. The ajax man also sort to know if Barca B players like Mark Crosas and Giovanni can be available to the Dutch giants soon.
However, their particular interest lies in securing the services of youth great, Bojan Krkic, who the Amsterdam kings have been trailing for a long time.

Barcelona could give no official word on the players, especially on young Bojan, who the Catalans don't want to toy with as he is considered very important to them.

Even if a deal is made on Bojan, Barca plans it should such a deal that can ensure the starlet returns to Barcelona whenever required and not to be sent away from Camp Nou on a permanent basis like they did to Fran Merida and others.

Official talks on Bojan will commence after the present Spanish football season ends.

Barcelona's Emerging 16-year Olds

gabriel
15th June 2007

Euro age group wonder-kid, Bojan Krkic and Barca B teammate, Giovanni need not worry about their replacements at Barca B.

Should Bojan and Giovanni leave, their place will be suitably filled by some very good 16 year old players who will also look to ascend to the seniors in the future.
Read brief profiles on them:

Thiago Alcantara:

He recently turned 16 years and was recruited under he direct orders of Garcia Pepper.
This young star is technically superior over most players of his age and carries bullets at both feet, shooting vehemently with both his left foot and right foot.

It is impossible to stop him when he is on the move with the ball and has an extreme maturity for football and great understanding of the game not expected of a player of his age.

His favourite area on the pitch tends toward the centre-left and is already being compared to Deco's style of play in that area when he plays on the pitch.
Though bearing Nascimento, is not the son of Brazilian football great Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, otherewise known as Pele.

Dani Pacheco

Nicknamed The Killer, this 16 year old who came in from Mallaga has been dazzling football onlookers ever since. His natural gift is in goalscoring and he somehow always manages to get the ball in the net despite the number of defenders around him.
He looks like a candidate to chase the record of Barca B goal machine , Bojan Krkic who has an amazing 889 goals in his kitty.

He has well graduated form the standards of the cadets and is a natural born scorer, who has had impressive goal tallies to his sheet, including series of hat-tricks, braces and singular strikes that have changed the entire course of games he has played in.

Gay Assulin:
This young Israeli talent, who only turned 16 on the 9th of April, will shake up the scenes at Barca B and turn the world stage alight in the senior category if he continues to destroy opponents the way he is currently doing.

Assulin reproduces the magic and magnificence of Barca senior team Idol, Ronaldinho and his courage in displacing much older opponents, while maintaing the same level of matured play with his older teammates is a thing of commendation.
The young magician is already being chased by English club, Chelsea FC, who have openly made it known he is the youth player they have been looking for.

The soccer world awaits the evolution of these young players as they will surely add a lot of spice of a different sort with their fresh new skills.

Scouting Talents already reported about the two young jewels of the FC Barcelona youth development and expected these two youngsters to shine.

But now, Barca´s young superstar, Lionel Messi (19 years old) is full of praise for the two future stars.

Bojan Krkic and Giovanni Dos Santos are two of the most lauded jewels at Barca. Both, Bojan (16 years old) and Giovanni (17 years old) are members of the present Barca B squad: Although both are still very young, they are expected to appear in the first team soon. Giovanni already gave his debut in the pre-season tour and was also on the bench at the FIFA Club World Championship in Japan. Bojan was promoted this year from the Juvenile to Barca B and was the revelation of the team. His goalscoring abilities made him to the team´s top scorer this season.

Messi, who was promoted himself 2 years ago with only 17 years feels that the two teenagers look ready for the first team. The youngest goalscorer in the history of Barca explained:

Both of those players could play anywhere and in any team. There would be no problem. I got my chance because a lot of players were injured, and I was needed. But, I’ll say they are two great players.

Jeffren Suárez: Another rising star of the Barca Juvenile

sven
31st July 2006

Today, ScoutingTalents, presents another future Barca star: Jeffren Suárez. Like Bojan Krkic and Givanni Dos Santos, Jeffren plays for the Juvenile A who won Championship and Copa del Rey in 2006. Last weekend he won the U19 European Championship with Spain in Poland.

Jeffren was born in Venezuela, emigrated to Tenerife, Canary Islands when he was only 2 years old. Now he is living at Barca´s youth academy in La Masia, Barcelona.

We have observed Jeffren Surarez over the last two month playing for the Barca Juvenile Team of coach Alex Garcia.

Jeffren Surarez is a talented young winger, who dreams of following in the footsteps of his idol, Leo Messi, who is just half a year older than Jeffren but already a super star on the world stage. There are a lot of similarities between Leo Messi and Jeffren Suárez. Both, players are very versatile, extremely fast and have a great technique.

Jeffren Suárez played this year in the Youth A team and gained his first senior football experience in playing for Barca C. For the next season, the pacey winger Jeffren has been promoted to Quique Costas' Barca B Team.

Jeffren´s outstanding qualities are his speed and technique. He makes powerful runs on the wings, using both feet and has a very strong and precise shot. Since joining Barca´s youth side from Tenerife, talented Jeffren has changed his style from being a goalgetter to providing and feeding others with chances to score. In Tenerife he scored about 20 goals each season while at Barca he scored 5 goals in 2 years.

He changed from an individualist to a real team player, his game is more complete and can play in several different positions.
