Relegation for some One Touch Premier League Clubs,Ghana

Joseph
27th April 2007

The 2006/2007 One Touch Premier League will end on Sunday, April 29 with the honouring of the 30th week matches at the approved centres. With a release by the Professional League Board ( PLB ) that all matches are played on Sunday, Accra Hearts Of Oaks having already sealed the Championship, but the centre of attraction will be the battle against relegation.

Power FC are the only confirmed candidate for relegation, whiles the other two places will be determine after the final day of matches.

The Permutation for relegation in the One Touch Premier League

1. Power FC is gone for good. No chance at all on the last day of matches.

2. If Tano Bofoakwa beats King Faisal and Fete Feyenoord either draw or lose to Ashgold, Bofoakwa will stay in the Premiership whilst Faisal and Feyenoord are relegated

3. On the other hand should Bofoakwa win and Feyenoord also win, then the Swedru based club Fete Feyenoord will stay whiles Bofoakwa the apostles of Ghana soccer gets relegated with King Faisal

4. But should Bofoakwa and King Faisal draw whilst Feyenoord wins, then the two teams will visit relegation with Swedru base staying.

5. On the contrary should Feyenoord draw whiles the match at Sunyani also ends in draw then King Faisal will stay in the Premiership.

6. If King Faisal wins they automatically stays in the premiership. But Feyenoord will also have to win its match and pray that Sportive beat either RTU or the match ends in draw at Kaladan Park before they can avoid relegation. This means that RTU and Bofoakwa will be relegated.

7. For RTU also to stay they need only a win to make the other score line irrelevant.

8. Other permutation is that if RTU loses and Bofoakwa and Feyenoord wins, the pride of the north and Faisal will be relegated.

9. A draw for Bofoakwa automatically takes them to relegation.

10. But should King Faisal draw then they will have to wait for the score line between Feyenoord and Ashgold to know their fate

Finally, all these permutation means that two of these teams RTU, King Fiasal, Feyenoord and Bofoakwa will go to relegation after Sunday One Touch Premier League matches
