Emmanuel Clottey record a hat-trick to propel him win this year's Goal King Award in the 2006/2007 One Touch Premiership League,Ghana.





Before their last league matches Emmanuel Clottey and Alex Asamoah of Ashgold FC both had 11 goals to their credit. Alex Asamoah scored the only goal against Fete Feyenoord Academy whiles Emmanuel Clottey of Accra Great Olympics scored an hat-trick in a 5-3 defeat against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.


Emmanuel Clottey was bought from Ghana inspirational captain Stephen Appiah´s youth club Mighty Victory FC in 2006 which has produce some of the finest national team players in Ghana. Mighty Victory is an amateur club that plays in the Accra West Colts Premier League. Emmanuel´s first year in the One Touch Premiership League saw him winning the golden boot award. This is a very impressive and excellent first year record. Emmanuel Clottey has being spotted by the Black Star coach Claude Le Roy and has being called up to join the Black Star team.
