Emmanuel Clottey has built up a fearsome reputation in the Premiership League in Ghana with a series of impressive performances with a history of grabbing game winning contributions. He has pace, touches and power and is fast becoming one of the finest forwards in Ghana. Emmanuel Clottey was extremely successful in his youth club, honing his skills and goal scoring ability at his youthful club Mighty Victory FC.


He was promoted from the Accra West Premier Colts club last season to help assist Accra Great Olympic qualify from Division 1 to the Premiership. And he scored 4 goals in 6 matches which saw Accra Great Olympic through to the Premiership.


Emmanuel in his first season in the One Touch Premiership League has currently scored 14 goals making him currently the top scorer in the One Touch Premiership League in Ghana. He has being called up to Ghana´s U23 Olympics team and has won 6 national caps for his country Ghana. His combination of blistering speed and perfect control makes him almost impossible to suppress when with the ball.

He has phenomenal pace and natural goal scoring instinct. Very fast and quick, has good change of rhythm, excellent dribbling skills and very difficult to mark. Emmanuel proves to be very dangerous to defenders in both, open and close situations. He is a fast runner and with open spaces ahead can be very dangerous in 1v1 and 1v2 situations.

His main characteristics are his excellent technical abilities, speed, electric pace and accurate and long range shots. He has excellent pace and with good possession skills, connects crosses with the head occasionally and is a good header of the ball. He has abundance technique, skills, speed and is a good dribbler. He shows great pace around the pitch and a unique ability to break away from even the fastest defenders when on the ball. He also possesses excellent technical skills and runs at defenders. He uses a combination of speed, quick, technical and clever touches to manage his way through tight 1v1 and 1v2 confrontations. He scores a lot with powerful shots with both foots. Sometime likes to attack from the flanks. He has got a good view of the game, very good positioning and good passing skills (long and short).

Emmanuel Clottey has mastered the basic and complex dribbling skills and he is almost unstoppable when he has open spaces ahead. Very crafty and intelligent in a 1v1 dribble encounter. His dribbling is unique and makes him dangerous upfront.
