Playing Career:

Isa Shaibu is a multi-functional young mid-fielder. His stamina, dynamic shooting and accurate passing have been particularly impressive. A talented player in the mould of compatriot Sulley Muntari, he has skill in abundance and the strength to command the middle of the park. An inspirational left winger who terrorizes defenders with searing pace and incisive running, he has also been used in a more central role on occasions. All-round midfielder with crunching tackles allied to superb vision. Isa combines an excellent range of passing and a superb strike rate and is widely regarded as one of the best midfielder in the Accra West Colts Premier League (U14 & U17).

Isa has the ability to tackle and intimidate outstanding opponents. Exhibits tireless running and astute passing ability. He is among the few players who possess both physical prowess and good ball skills. Long-range shooting, pace, stamina.

His main characteristics are his excellent technical abilities, powerful header and accurate and long range shots. He is confident, when in possession and aggressive when attacking. He has excellent pace and with good possession skills, connects crosses with the head occasionally and is a good header of the ball. He has abundance technique, skills, speed and is a good dribbler. Controls and protects the ball leaving it oriented for a second action (shot). He scores a lot with powerful shots and powerful header. An exciting talent whose electric pace and direct plays are a handful for any defender. His preferred position is on the left, but when he cuts inside he presents a real goal threat and has a superb clinical finish.
