Nigeria will play hosts Togo in the final of the African U17 Championship on Sunday. The Golden Eaglets beat Tunisia 2-0, while Togo reached the final with a 2-1 victory over Ghana. Ghana will play Tunisia now for third place on Sunday.

Nigerian striker Chrisanthus Macaulley scored twice in the first half and helped his team to their win over Tunisia. The Golden Eaglets dominated the opening period and after only 3 minutes Macaulley took advantage of a defensive error and put Nigeria in the lead.
On minute 35 Macaulley increased the lead with a clever chip from the edge of the box.

On minute 12, the Black Starlets took the lead through striker Ransford Osei, before Togo´s Korodowou Moise's equalised in the 29th minute. Substitute Salifou Saibou sealed the victory for Togo in stoppage time.
All four semi-finalists are through to Fifa's Under-17 World Cup to be held in South Korea in August 2007.
