The selected juniors Sparrowhawks, Togo´s U17 selection, beat Beninese club Soleil FC by 2-1 in a friendly encounter last Sunday.


Togolese striker Kamaldin Abraho, who scored two goals in the match, ensured the sweet victory for his side.


The young Sparrowhawks who outplayed Soleil FC in all departments of the game, scored the opener through striker, Kamaldin Abraho in the 29th minute. Kamaldin Abraho who had a wonderful game raised the tally to 2-0 in the 37th minute.


In the second half, Soleil FC started to load pressure on their opponents and it came as no surprise when Moustapha Olaofè briefly came into the picture to mark a goal in the 74th minute after several attempts to reduce Togo´s lead failed, as the strong defense of the young Sparrowhawks thwarted all of Soleil´s efforts.
