Osumanu grew up at football club L.A Bruce and played until the U12 team. Therafter Osamanu joint his current club King Harisson Babies. King Harisson Babies has an execellent youth development and has produced about 60% of national team players for Ghana.

He is very good in the air and has no fear trying to score from any position, effort or direct volleys. Controls and protects the ball leaving it oriented for a second action (shot). He scores a lot with powerful shots and powerful header. Sometime Osamanu likes to attack from the flanks. He has got a good view of the game, very good positioning and good passing skills (long and short).
