Joseph Epton, our representative in Ghana, watched young striker Godfred Appiah from Frankfurt Academy. Joseph believes that Godfred is a young talent that has to be pointed out because he believes he could develope into a great striker. Joseph summarized his observations in his Scouting Report:

Nurtured from the Frankfurt U-10 Gordfred has prominently featured in all their senior matches and is currently the leading attacker for the 2nd Division side.

Very quick on the ball, runs at top speed and has the ability to change direction at a glance and very good in decoy runs. He is a fast sprinter and with open spaces ahead can be very dangerous in 1v1 and 1v2 situations.

Extremely skillful and as a lethal attacker has an excellent start and stop, is aggressive, very strong in aerial tussles and charges well at opponent defenders. Hardworking with good speed and powerful shots.

Godfred Appiah is the icon on attack for Frankfurt Academy, Ghana. Likes to attack on the run and picks space passes very well. He is confident when in possession and aggressive when attacking. He has excellent pace and with good possession skills, connects crosses with the head occasionally and is a good header of the ball. He has abundance technique, skills, speed and is a good dribbler. Controls and protects the ball leaving it oriented for a second action (shot). He is also good in 1v1 situation, runs at top speed and nimble in changing directions. He dribbles well and creating much space to unlock and torment the opponent defense.

Godfred Appiah as mastered the basic and complex dribbling skills and he is almost unstoppable when he has open spaces ahead. Very crafty and intelligent in a 1v1 dribble encounter. His dribbling is unique and makes him dangerous upfront.

Very combative, fearless, selfless, good endurance rate, good thinker, has a lot of vision; goal oriented and is always ready to find the opponent goal post.

Pure and natural goal score and can be a vital finisher for any club looking for a top goal scorer. Good shooter and an excellent finisher. Score frequently with both feet.

Godfred Appiah is a typical number 9, strong fast and always searching for opportunity to score. Very talented player with great skills, vision and an eye for goal. He serves and receives passes perfectly short and long. He has incalculable talent and skill and a player to watch out for the future. He has currently been call up to join Ghana U-17 national squad.
