Scoutigtalents representative in Nigeria reports from the IFETEDO FOOTBALL FIESTA.
FAK-REM Football Academy took part in this prestigious tournament with the FAK-REM Boys U19 Team.

The Ifetedo football fiesta was played in Osun State, South West Nigeria, about 500 km from Lagos. Ifetedo was established in 1930. The town headquarters the IFE South Local Government. The prestigious football tournament has been organised to celebrate the birthday of the town and to help fund raising for the community development.


4 Teams had been invited to the Festival and to play the Tournament:

2. Okeigbo FC

3. St. Joseph´s Football Academy

4. Okeigbo Grammar School


The Football tournament for U19 players had been incorporated into the Festival that lasted for 2 weeks.


The FAK-REM U19 team had been considered as favourites, due to it´s large experience in international tournaments and some players even appeared in the Mock World Cup in Lagos during the summer. The FAK-REM Boys are trained for a professional career in football and are fully prepared to go on trials to European football clubs during this summer.
