FAK-REM Football Academy/Club is proud to announce that Dr. Philip A. Nwalaka is ready to assist and sponsor Mr. Francis Akinremi´s FAK-REM Football Academy/Club in Lagos, Nigeria.


When Dr. Nwalaka visited the National Stadium for a sport meeting, the FAK-REM team who were focussing on their preparation for the Mock World Cup caught his attention.
Impressed by the training performances of the talented FAK-REM players and several meetings later discussing the needs of FAK-REM Football Academy, Mr. Francis Akinremi is proud to present such a kind patron as Dr. Nwalaka.

The first assistance in sport equipment in the form of 20 footballs and 15 pairs of soccer boots has already arrived at the Academy. The gifts are probably a special motivation for the team to perform well at the Mock World Cup.


Dr. Philip A. Nwalaka is a successful business man in Nigeria and Spain. He hails from Okwu Ikedun, Owerri of Imo State in the Southern part of Nigeria. Dr. Nwalaka is a great sports fan and also the sponsor of the CHUZI Soccer Cup, a football tournament for adults in his hometown Okwu Ikedun. The CHUZI football tournament is held in December/January of each year. The CHUZI soccer competition comprises of 8 villages in the local area.


The Chuzi Cup gurantees substantial prize money for the winner of this soccer tournament and awards the best football player of the tournament with a trophy, the "Golden Boot". All participating soccer teams receive sets of football jerseys and the 5 youngest soccer players in this football competition are awarded a scholarship.
