The Female Football Final of the National Sports Festival 2006 (aka "Gate Way Games") in Nigeria was played on Wednesday 19th of April 2006 at the MKO International Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun State (Kick-Off 4.15 pm, local time).
Also the female football final was played by the host team Ogun State and their opponents came from Akwa-Ibom State. The Ogun State women team defeated Akwa-Ibom State 4-3 after penalties.
Both teams of Ogun State, male and female, won Gold at the National Sports Festival, tagged 'Gate Way Games 2006'.
