FAK-REM Football Academy is proud of the invitation to such a prestigious tournament as the RE-MOCK World Cup Championship, organised by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). The RE-Mock football tournament will be held on May 13 - 27, 2006 at the Main Bowl of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
32 Clubs will play the RE-Mock World Cup Championship. The championship is being organized to fill the absence of the Super Eagles in the FIFA World Cup in Germany kicking off on June 9, 2006. The main task of the football tournament is to observe and discover young Nigerian talents who could play for the Nigerian National Team in the future. The championship is supported by Nigeria Football Association (NFA)also attributing sport equipment and some cash gifts. The RE-Mock event will be graced by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Nigeria and Mr. Chris Weldon, a FIFA rated referee, who works with the British High Commission and both who will be attending the opening and closing ceremony and matches of the tournament.


This invitation to the RE-Mock World Cup Championship is regarded as a recognition of the excellent work and huge efforts exercised by all members of the management and training staff of the FAK-REM Football Academy in developing great football talents over the years. The recent success of the FAK-REM Football Academy Team and their football players has been alerted the Nigerian football world.
