I am Joseph Epton and I will be blogging about upcoming football talents in Ghana.


I was born and bred on the beaches of Accra, in Ghana.


I am a young guy, enjoying life by staying physically fit and eating nutritiously.


I have been a football player myself but my footballing career came to an abrupt end as a result of an injury at the young age of 17 while I was already playing for a senior team in Accra.


My enthusiasm for football did not die with my playing career, though due to my injury I could not make it to international level myself. I am therefore highly motivated to help nurture outstanding young players here in Ghana, in order that they might develop their own professional careers.


I spend a large amount of my time travelling around the region, watching matches, tournaments and other events in order to discover and identify young players with exceptional skills and potential. Then I monitor and evaluate these young talents and follow them over a period of time. If they meet the high standards and requirements set, I will assist them in developing a professional career.


I am the representative of Scouting Team in Ghana and I will report about my work in the Scouting Talents blog. You will be consistently updated about my discoveries and analyses.
