FAK-REM Football Academy/Club is developing into the leading Football Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.


FAK-REM FOOTBALL ACADEMY was established in 1999 at the National Institute for Sports, Lagos (NIGERIA). It´s highly respected reputation has led to the dynamic growth of FAK-REM in Nigeria.


At present the Football Academy is proud to train and educate over 250 exceptional talented football players, both male and female, that have been hand picked by the Academy.


FAK-REM has just opened a Satellite Centre using modern sports facilities including a football stadium in the heart of the town IFE/IFETEDO, 200km outside of Lagos. This traing-center will recruit the best football talents of this rural region and will be the home for both male and female football players. Further satellites are planned in the near future.


The Football Academy is recognised by the Nigeria Football Association(NFA), the National Institute for Sports (NIS) and the Nigeria Schools Sports Federation (NSSF). The FAK-REM Football Academy employs highly qualified coaches and also utilises Sports Coaches (Students) from the National Institute for Sports (NIS) in co-operation with the NIS as a part of their football oriented Training Programmes.


FAK-REM Football Academy is proud to use such modern sport facilities as an indoor training hall, gym and the playing fields of the NIS at the National Stadium. The excellent facilities and well educated coaches are the basis on which we dvelop so many young exceptional athletes.


The Academy Manager is Francis A. Akinremi, a senior lecturer/coach of the National Institute for Sports. Francis Akinremi holds a a PHD in Sports Administration & Management and is also a Member of the International Council for Coach Education (I.C.C.E.).
